Pratical life Sewing
Writing always comes before reading in a Montessori Classroom. Children build-up their words phonetically by using cardboard letters. The reading skill progresses through three series: pink, blue and green. Writing skills are learned through experiences with sandpaper letters by touch as well as by sight and sound. At Green Meadows, a wide range of story and reference picture books are always available at the reading corner to further enhance a child’s literacy skill.
